  1. I love Thanksgiving - I love the colors of fall right around now, I love the weather, and most of all I love talking about being thankful. Thanksgiving inspires such an appreciation of all that we have both people and things.

    1. I love the colors, too! As I drive home from school every day with my children, we point out the most vibrant tree we see. I love taking every day to share one thing we are thankful for as a family. Makes us feel closer and appreciate the little things in life more :)

  2. We don't do Thanksgiving in Australia but I am enjoying reading all the posts about fall, pumpkins and turkeys. Oh, and I also wanted to give you a big thank you for your detailed blog posts about interactive notebooks and close reads. Very informative. Cheers! thursdaytook@hotmail.com

    1. I love the vacation time, too. The district I am in (well, I am not teaching this year, but my hubby still is and it's where my kids go to school) gets the whole week off. I love having a week at Thanksgiving to spend time with family. Seems less rushed than when we used to get just a few days off.

    1. I love eating the food, too! Especially since Thanksgiving is the ONLY time of year my parents make certain dishes that happen to be my favorite :)

  6. I love Thanksgiving because it's a time to get together with family members. It's also a time to be thankful and grateful for all that we have. Thanks for the opportunity!
